Welcome to Knead Bakery
Knead Bakery is a local, family run Artisan Bakery based in Newtownards, Co. Down. Our lovingly hand crafted products range from Artisan bread and scones to traybakes and pastries and savoury foods to go. With over 24 years baking experience we are successfully launching new products incorporating local products, such as pizza breads using Hollah chutney, sausage rolls using locally sourced black pudding and honeycomb eclairs with local honey. We are also dedicated to bringing to market new health breads such as low GI Spelt & Honey bread, Aveno Oat cottage loaf, Quinoa and Amaranth loaves something for those with specific dietary needs or adjusting their diets for a healthy lifestyle. We love nothing more than to reinvigorate old favourites with a new twist or think outside the box and try new combinations to enrich our customers experience i.e. Fibanoffee pie (fifteen base with a banoffee topping, see Facebook post) or Strawberry and black pepper scones.
We are customer focused and often will follow up individual requests, orders and speciality cakes. We take our customer feedback very seriously and take a dynamic approach in meeting customer needs and preferences
